How does PHOTOBLOCKER work

Photo radar cameras often
utilize a strong flash to photograph the license plate on your car as it speeds
by. PHOTO BLOCKER speed camera number plate spray special formula works to reflect the flash back
to the camera. The result is an overexposed and unreadable picture, often
preventing a costly ticket.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Shake can well before use.
01. Remove plate, clean surface with clean water (DO NOT USE
DETERGENTS). Place
flat.
02. Spray PhotoBlocker evenly until surface is totally
saturated and glossy. Let dry for approx 10-15 minutes and repeat the process 2-3 times.
Once finished your plate should be smooth and very glossy. Remember use Photoblocker™
number plate spray on both plates.
03. Let it dry for about 2 hours. Photoblocker Should be good for life!
Isle of Man Insurance has
launched a new Flashguard insurance policy which takes its name from the flash
of a speed camera. For £1 per week, it offers up to £6000 worth of cover to
meet the cost of a year's alternative travel for drivers banned for speeding,
and there's a double-cover policy which for an annual premium of £75 increases
that to a maximum of £12,000.
The company is pointing out that the number of speeding
drivers caught on camera in 2002 was 1.5 million, last year it was two million,
and this year it looks like rising to more than three million.
As well as that, while there around 5000 approved camera
sites in the UK, there's a backlog of requests for at least 10,000 more. The
next generation of digital cameras will be active 24/7 and won't run out of film
like the older Gatso types. And since they can operate in pairs, they are able
to work out average speeds between two points, thus foiling in-car detector
devices which warn of a single camera location.
